The Fresh 48 sessions are meant to capture those brand new moments, the itty bitty details and the raw emotion in the next day or two after you’ve welcomed your newborn into the world. These are my absolute favorite sessions! There’s nothing special that you need to do in preparation for these sessions other than having a brand new baby! We’ll make use of the gear that the hospital provides - the bassinet, hats, bows and swaddle blankets. You can always bring your own swaddle blankets and outfits if you wish, but with so much going on already, there’s really no need to stress about the extra stuff. Since there’s typically a lot of traffic in and out of the hospital room, I like to keep these sessions quick, about 30 minutes or so, so that medical staff, families and friends can have the time that they need with your little one. Fresh 48 sessions are intimate and cozy and will serve as a beautiful memory of what life was like when your baby was fresh.
